Since inception Klass Velvets has taken measures to maintain international standards in the production process to give our customers best quality especially for Hand embroideries.
In addition to our physical infrastructure, we have heavily invested in R&D and training of our employees.
Our manufacturing unit is located in the Industrial Area of Dombivali which is 60 Kilometers from Mumbai and 10 Kilometers from Bhiwandi. We are well connected by Road and Rail enabling us to provide prompt service and deliveries to Customers. Our state of the art unit is built keeping in mind the needs of the workers to ensure the best equipment and environment to produce Velvet.
The process starts with sizing and twisting the yarn which ensures strength in the yarn and makes it easy for weaving. It’s the most crucial stage which creates the foundation of the fabric.
The manufacturing process is focused on continuous improvement and the highest level of quality control to achieve minimal defects in the production process. We have set up a team controlling quality at all stages of the process (i.e. raw material purchase, grey fabric, dyed fabric and fished fabric.
Our unit has over 150 machines that have been installed to ensure fabric can move freely without any bottlenecks arising in the production process. Our strength of more that 200 employees is given accommodation, provided for PF, Esic and all other benefits stipulated by the government and more.
We have all the necessary safety and fire equipment in order to be prepared for the worst. And provide immediate medical aide to any employee injured.
We have our flagship store in the heart of Mumbai’s textile area “Kalbadevi” surrounded by the historic textile markets that have been around for decades. All kinds of customers can come here and look at our latest collection and newest designs.
